Gardenia Chicken Parmesan Sliders

Ingredients

1 pack divided into three portions Gardenia Cheese Buns
1Piece Chicken Breast fillet, medium
Salt to taste
pepper to taste
1/2 tsp dried Garlic powder
1 Tbsp Italian Herbs Spice Mix
1/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese
Flour
1/4 cup Room Temperature Egg

Season Bread Crumbs
1 cup Crushed Bread Crumbs
1 tbsp Chopped
Garlic powder
1 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese

Cooking oil

Italian Tomato sauce
1 can Crushed canned tomato
Sugar to taste
salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Optional Cayenne Pepper optional to taste
Italian Herbs mix spices optional to taste

Procedure

PROCEDURE:
To prepare the tomato sauce:
1.) In a pan, add 1 can of crushed tomatoes and season with salt, pepper, cayenne, and italian herb mix spices.
2.) Simmmer for 5 minutes and set aside.

To Prepare Seasoned Bread Crumbs:
1.) In a bowl, combine bread crumbs, garlic powder, italian herb mixed spices and chopped parsley then set aside.


to Prepare Chicken:
1.) Season chicken with salt, pepper and spices. Slice in half and make a slit on the middle for the cheese stuffing
2.) Stuff the mozzarella cheese in the middle. Dredge the Chicken in flour, then dip in egg and roll in seasoned Bread Crumbs.
3.) Deep fry until fully cooked and golden brown in color then set aside.

To assemble:
1.) Slice Gardenia Cheese Buns in 3's( by 3's, please refer to the photo )
2.) Toast in a non stick pan, two minutes each sides until toasted.
3.) Slice the breaded chicken into strips and place on the cheese buns. Top with tomato sauce and cover with the other half of the bread.
4.) Place 2 tbsp of tomato sauce on the side as a dip. Serve warm.
