Gardenia Dagupan Bangus Pesto
Ingredients48slices Gardenia High Fiber Whole Wheat Bread
1 (400 g) Bangus belly, deboned
4 Tbsp Pesto, store bought
1 piece Tomato, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
ProcedureCut bangus belly into four pieces. Place fish in an oven proof baking dish. Top each slice of bangus with one tablespoon pesto and spread over fish. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake fish in a pre heated oven at 425° for 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
For the sandwich, place lettuce leaves on one slice of bread. Top with baked bangus and tomato. Cover with another slice of bread. Cut the sandwich diagonally. Serve.
