Gardenia Ube and Cheese Oatmeal French Toast
IngredientsGardenia Double Delights Ube and Cheese Loaf – 2 slices
Fresh Milk – 1 cup
Fresh Eggs, whole – 2 pcs
Oatmeal – 1 cup
Strawberries – 1/2 cup
Mangoes – 1 slice
Powdered Sugar – 8 tbsp (4 tbsp each fruit)
ProcedureGet 2 slices of Gardenia Double Delights Ube and Cheese Loaf. Gather all the ingredients to be used for the French toast.
Mix strawberries and powdered sugar, add water to blend, do the same with the mangoes.
Get a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and puree mangoes.
Dip the Gardenia Ube and Cheese Loaf slices in the egg and milk mixture, quickly drench in oatmeal, tap to remove excess. Set aside.
Prepare the pan, heat a table spoon of butter, pan fry the Ube and Cheese slices, 3 mins each side or until it is crispy and golden brown.
Serve with fresh strawberry and mango and puree on the side. Drizzle with maple syrup (optional).
