Gardenia Humbastik Sandwich

Ingredients

Gardenia White Bread
Gardenia Wheat Bread
Pork belly
Onion
Garlic
Soy sauce
Pepper corn
Bay leaves
Pineapple juice
Vinegar
Brown sugar
Banana
Dried banana blossoms
Lettuce

Procedure

HUMBA FILLING:
Heat the cooking pot then brown the pork belly.
Add the onions and garlic and cook until the onions are soft. Put-in the soy sauce, pepper corn, bay leaves.
Pour-in the pineapple juice and let boil. Simmer until the pork is tender.Add vinegar and wait for the mixture to re-boil. Simmer for 3 minutes.
Add brown sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add dried banana blossoms and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes.

HUMBA SANDWICH:
1 slice of Gardenia White Classic Bread. Add lettuce, banana and banana blossoms. Add Humba filling.
Add 1 slice of Gardenia Whole Wheat Bread. Add banana and Humba filling. Add 1 slice of Gardenia White Classic Bread.
